Learning how to do something is much easier when we have directions to follow. There are many different ways to learn how to do something, but nothing is more important than knowing how to love. Loving others is difficult, and they would probably say the same about you. God sent His Son not only to show us true love but also to empower us to love through Christ. Before Jesus returned to Heaven, He told His disciples they would love others because Jesus first loved them. A Jesus-follower doesn’t love people for Jesus; a Jesus-follower lives loved. There is a big difference. One type of love is limited, and the source is you. The deeper and limitless love comes from Jesus that lives within you. Now we can love because He first loved us. Spending time in that kind of grace and love will change your life and the ability to love.
