“that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;” – Philippians 3:10
Paul embodied a life that was desperate to see God move and to know Him more. He lived on mission for the sole purpose of gaining a deeper understanding of Christ and to witness His wonder-working power in everyday life. Paul understood that the power that raised Jesus from the dead was now at work in him, enabling him to do far more than he ever thought possible. The exciting news is that we too have His power at work in our lives so that God can use us to accomplish His purposes! But we must first be willing to give our lives up to do whatever God’s will may be. In order to experience that resurrection power, we must die to ourselves and live for His purposes alone so that the world may come to know His power.
