“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” – Matthew 28:18-20
You are a citizen of a powerful Kingdom with a powerful King. Jesus Christ begins this great commission to His church by re-emphasizing that everything is under His power and control. His rule and reign is over His mission on earth to redeem His people and bring them to Himself. There is no enemy either in heaven or earth that stands a chance against His plan. When you are on His team, you are fighting from victory and not for victory. Jesus is on your side and that’s all you need. You can obey His following command knowing that you have His full power, rights, privileges and authority to carry out His redeeming mission.
