When you are connected with someone, it means you are joined together, related to, or involved with another person, group, thing, or event. When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have the right to be connected to God for eternity. Then, as only God could, He doesn’t stop there; He provides connection to others so that you do not have to live this life alone. Being connected to God rearranges our attitudes, desires, and motives. Being connected to His family lets us live life in community with others. Just like being born makes us alive and places us in our parents’ family, being born again makes us spiritually alive and places us into God’s family! Life is richer and made better when we are connected first to God, then to His family!
