“O love the Lord, all you His godly ones! The Lord preserves the faithful and fully recompenses the proud doer.” – Psalm 31:23
Have you ever been so excited about something that you could barely hold it in? Maybe it was some thrilling news or a surprise for a loved one. Well, the writer of this Psalm couldn’t contain it any longer. In the rest of the chapter, the Psalmist is talking to God about the trial he was experiencing and praising God for His goodness and faithfulness towards him. But he erupts with exhortation; encouraging others to love the Lord for the reasons He gave in the rest of the chapter. So in the good and the bad, the ups and the downs, on the mountaintop or in the valley, we can love the Lord! Whatever you may be facing, learn to love God through it all.
