“He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is also unrighteous in much.” – Luke 16:1-13
God expects us to be responsible with the way we manage our money: the way we save it, the way we spend it, and the way we give it. God says that if we are faithful with what He’s entrusted to us then He can trust us, if He chooses, with more of it. He says if we’re faithful in little things, we’ll be faithful in more. That applies to every area of life as well. If we are faithful in giving of our time and talents, He will multiply our efforts exponentially. This is one way the Kingdom of God grows. Imagine if every child of God understood that their time, talent, and resources were to be used for His Kingdom. Unreached people groups could be reached with the Gospel. Unchurched cities globally could see new churches planted. All because Jesus followers began to live faithfully with what He has entrusted to them.
In what way/ways are you sharing your time, talent, and resources with others to expand God’s Kingdom?
