“for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is the rewarder of those who seek Him.” – Hebrews 11:6
God is the only God. The exclusivity of this maddens and pushes some away. But the only God does exist. He lives. He is not a figment of man’s imagination. Additionally, the God who is alive also gives life. This verse tells us that seeking Him is not only good but that there is a reward for doing so. The reward is everlasting, eternal life. This life comes through Jesus who came to us to give us the only way to God. He will not force Himself on us though. We are not unwilling candidates in salvation. God came, but we must receive Him. Have you sought after Him? Though you may be a Christian, do you still seek Him? The promise attached to seeking Him reveals that God will manifest Himself if you pursue Him.
