“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.” – 2 Corinthians 9:8
Millions of promises are made every single day. And often, people place a lot of weight on those promises. A promised promotion. A promise from a friend. A promise between a husband and a wife. And the confidence that one has concerning the fulfillment of a promise usually rests in the character of the one who made the promise. As Jesus followers, God has given us many promises in His Word. One of them is that when we live a life of generosity to see the mission accomplished, He promises to make sure that we have everything we need. Because He is who He says He is and can do what He says He can do, our confidence in that promise coming to fruition is rock-solid.
If God is who He says He is, why might you still have trouble trusting in His promises?
