"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints."-Ephesians 1:18

Ephesians 1:18
“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” – Ephesians 1:18

One incredible aspect of the Kingdom of God is its inclusiveness. People from every race, every socio-economic status, every nation, and every walk of life find common and level ground at the foot of the cross. The Gospel is the good news of salvation, not based on anything we can bring to the table, but ALL based on Christ and what He has done. No matter what we have in our past or what may be plaguing our present, in Christ, we are called “saints.” Not only do we gain eternal life through Christ (as if that weren’t enough!), but He also promises us wealth. Now, this isn’t material wealth that our world strives for and some Christians have twisted the scriptures to teach. This “richness” is what we are promised in Christ. All of Christ, in all of us, for all of time. That is WEALTH! The fullness of Christ is offered to us, His “saints”! So no matter your race, your socio-economic status, your family history, or your struggles, in Christ you are free. You are forgiven. You are rich!

When was the last time you thought about and praised God for the inheritance that you have been given in Christ? Take God at His word today and begin to walk in His richness!
