“Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving” -Colossians 4:2
Devotion plays a huge role in the development and strength of any relationship. Being devoted to that relationship builds both love and trust. In our relationship with Jesus, talking and listening to Him through prayer on a daily basis, is as essential to the relationship as with any other. Paul states, “Devote yourselves to prayer” In other words, make prayer a priority in your daily life. God answers the prayers of His people and we also know that the prayers of the righteous avails much (James 5:16).
Would you call your prayer life a devoted prayer life? Determine now that you will “devote” yourself to prayer.
