"With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints." Ephesians 6:18

Ephesians 6:18
“With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.”                    – Ephesians 6:18

We are not only called to pray for God’s activity in the world, we are also to pray for other followers of Jesus as well. How many times has another believer asked you this question: “Can you pray for me?” How humble and vulnerable is such a request! Whenever a brother or sister asks you to pray for them, take them up on their offer. Don’t wait. Pray right then. They are giving you an opportunity to bombard the throne of Heaven on their behalf. God may choose to answer your prayer at that exact moment. What might we miss out on if we neglect an opportunity to pray for our brother or sister in Christ?
