“for a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people” – Acts 11:25, 26
In community, one of our responsibilities is to teach each other. Many times, Christians feel as though they have a deficiency of knowledge and are therefore not equipped to teach anyone. This deception disables the movement of the church. If you are in Christ, you are equipped to help others learn more about God. You have everything you need in Him to be the teacher and leader He wants you to be. The men that taught here in Acts 11 were known by most as Galileans. They were considered uneducated fishermen. God poured into them what they would need to be equipped to lead others. He will do the same for you as you follow Him and trust Him to use you in the greatest and most efficient ways. Ask Him to give you influence in the lives of others, and then to have the courage to step out to lead them in ways you would dare not do without Him.
Who can you begin pouring your life into for the sake of the mission?
