Life Marks 2025: Evidence of a Life With Jesus
Week 1: A New Year’s Reminder and An Invitation

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2

What is the vision for your life in 2025?

What is the vision for your spiritual life in 2025?

Most of us are educated beyond our level of obedience. We don’t need more information. We need more consecration.

“Consecration is our response to God’s work… God sets us apart in salvation, we set ourselves apart in consecration.” Clyde Cranford

1. God Has Given You His Word

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness…” 2 Timothy 3:16

“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.” Hebrews 4:12 (NLT)

As soon as God’s Word becomes a part of the majority of your week here’s what happens:

  • 30% less likely to experience loneliness or depression

  • 228% more likely to share their faith

  • 62% less likely to drink to excess

  • 59% less likely to view pornography

  • 407% more likely to memorize Scripture

  • 231% more likely to disciple others

2. God Wants You to Grow

“For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son
…” Romans 8:29a

“Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity...” Hebrews 6:1a

3. God Has Given You a Family to Grow With

“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ… If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body.” 1 Corinthians 12:12, 19-20

The church is not a place. The church is a people who have been placed.

We exist to connect people to live the life of a Jesus follower

A relationship with God

  • A Jesus follower abides in Christ

A relationship with other believers

  • A Jesus follower connects in community

A relationship with the world

  • A Jesus follower shares in the mission

“…forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13b-14

Most of us are educated beyond our level of obedience. We don’t need more information. We need more consecration.
