“I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.” Psalm 145:1-4

1. God Is Great!

“I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever… Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.” Psalm 145:1,3

What do you think about when you think about God?

4 Wrong Ways People View God:
1. Grandpa God
2. Netflix God
3. Doomsday God
4. Homeboy God

“…The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness…” Exodus 34:6

2. God Wants My Heart and My Hands Every Day

“Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever.” Psalm 145:2

“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NLT)

3. God’s Work and Wonders Should be Shared

“One generation shall commend your works to another and shall declare your mighty acts.” Psalm 145:4

“You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” Deuteronomy 6:7

How To be Intentional With Your Family:
1. When you are hanging out – “sit in your house”
2. When you are on the go – “walk by the way”
3. When you are finishing your day – “when you lie down”
4. When you are starting your day – “when you rise”

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.” Psalm 127:3-4
