3 Ways to suffer well

Honesty with God


“Let me have silence, and I will speak, and let come on me what may. Why should I take my flesh in my teeth and put my life in my hand?” – Job 13:13-14


“But I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to argue my case with God.” Job 13:3


The wrong way to question God

“Lord, you say you love me, but why did you allow this?”


The right way to question God

“Lord, can you help me understand why are you doing this?


“Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.”- Psalm 62:8


“…casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7


Expressing our emotions can cut the effect of our pain in half, not expressing them can double the pain.

We don’t live by explanations; we live by promises.
